Convo with My Mom

Me:  "Hi, Mom!  Did you have fun at the [annual party]?"

Mom:  "Yes, I had a good time.  Of course, a lot of people remember me.  I guess I didn't change very much.  This very fat man said, 'Remember me?  You were at my [hiring event]!'  I had to be polite and say, 'Oh, yeah!' even though I didn't remember him.  I guess he was skinny then."

Me:  "Ohhhkaaaay...well, I'm glad you had a good time."

Mom:  "Thank you, hun."
